SRRC radio model approval
  • SRRC is a compulsory certification requirement of the National Radio Regulatory Commission. Since June 1, 1999, the Ministry of information industry (MII) has mandated that all radio component products sold and used in China must obtain the radio type approval certification. SRRC is the National Radio Regulatory Commission

State Radio Regulatory Commission of the People's Republic of China

SRMC certification (also known as SRRC certification)

Formerly China's National Radio Monitoring Center (State Radio Regulation Committee), SRRC State Radio Monitoring Center, SRMC is the only authorized authorized testing and certification of radio type approval system in mainland China. At present, China has set a special frequency range for different types of radio transmitting equipment, and not all frequencies can be legally used in China. In other words, all radio transmitting equipment sold or used in its territory will have different frequencies. In addition, applicants must pay attention to the specified scope of certain radio transmitting equipment, not only applying for "radio type approval certification", but also applying for China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and / or network access license (MII) approval.

The national radio monitoring center is an institution directly under the Ministry of information industry of the people's Republic of China. It is mainly responsible for radio monitoring and radio spectrum management, and is the supporting institution of China's radio management.

The center consists of 10 departments, 1 national monitoring station, 8 National short wave / satellite monitoring stations, 1 ultra short wave monitoring station and 1 data backup center. At present, there are 152 staff members, including 117 in Beijing, 35 outside Beijing, 119 with bachelor degree or above, accounting for 79% of the total number of employees. Among them, there are 96 employees with intermediate or above titles, accounting for 63% of the total number of employees.

The center has always stood at the forefront of China's radio monitoring work, excellently completed daily monitoring, equipment detection, spectrum research and other work, repeatedly built wonders in protecting the dedicated spectrum of civil aviation navigation, safeguarding the radio information security during major national activities and other major monitoring tasks, and played an irreplaceable role in the national radio management work.

In recent years, the center has continuously strengthened the construction of talent team and technical facilities, effectively promoting the modernization and scientization of radio management. At present, the national radio management information network has been basically completed, the national radio short wave monitoring network and the national radio satellite monitoring network have begun to take shape, and the ultra short wave monitoring network in Beijing and its surrounding areas is under construction. The center also has a world-class radio equipment testing laboratory.

At present, the center is committed to comprehensively improving the radio management support capacity and making new contributions to the healthy development of China's radio industry.
